    I captured this image of a Florida Scrub Jay at Helen and Alan Cruikshank Sanctuary in Rockledge, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a monopod
    1/2500 F/8 Matrix Metering EV +1 ISO 560 Auto 1 WB. image captured at 400mm
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Hi Joe. A terrific look at this rarity. My only thought is that the brightness of the perch detracts a bit from the somewhat less bright tones of the bird.

    Love the blue colors on the bird. They go with the sky wonderfully. I don't mind the perch. A nice pose as well.

    Colors and Head Angle looks nice.

    How big of a crop is this one.
