Now, that's a blue bird. Love the composition, pose, light and soft green to compliment this beauty. PMP TFS

Looks great among all that green. Nicely snuggled within the leaves as well. Beautiful frame all around - the only thing I would do is "spot remove" the black dot on the leaf, below the tail.

Well done Bill, this is lovely. I like everything about this image... I really like the exposure on the bird, open beak, and lovely perch, well done.

    What a wonderful frame!
Love everything about it- clean BG, great colors, perfect HA and singing pose.
    No nits from me.
I did not notice the little black spot until Dan mentioned it.

A beauty, Bill. Outstanding calling pose on a perfect perch, and beautiful complimentary background.

Bill, a bird I badly want in my portfolio. You did this one great justice with the semi-dorsal view and a sweet look back by the subject.

Composition is super nice. Looks like some kind of rose bush?

My only critical comment (perhaps a preferential one?) would be about the color transition from a true/rich blue on the head down to a much more pale, almost cyan color near the tail. Does that represent how you think you viewed it?

    Nicely done overall!

Beautiful Image. I might add more sharpening to the bird.

Thank you all. I missed that black spot. Brian, the natural coloration of this species shows a darker, richer blue on the head than on the back and tail. Krishna, I agree. You are the only one to mention the sharpening, but I had the same thought when I saw this as posted on BPN; the file on my computer looked noticeably sharper prior to posting. Not the first time this has happened, but I thought I had it licked.

Digging deep. For me, this image could not be any more perfect. The singing pose is mega. The soft light here makes the image.
