Ok, the title is a football reference (RG III, Robert Griffin the third who was a phenom in the NFL). If you don't follow college or NFL then you're excused.

More from the multiple summer shoots with these spastic characters. This is the third Blue-gray Gnatcatcher shot in the series.

The composition, the perfectly spot on sharpening with all those fine feathers and the BG all make for an amazing canvas. The fact it's a BGG makes this impossibly perfect. TFS

A very well balanced frame. Nice perch pose and background. The color is very nice as well.

Brian. Just loving your photos! This cute bird composition has such a wonderful feel to it...perfect pose, HA, perfectly processed. The BG and the flora just add to the warm atmosphere created by this image. The bird looks so much like our female wrens here. TFS

Very nice indeed as presented, purely a personal observation I would be inclined to lower the highlights - just a little.

Super sweet Brian, I like this just as is. Wonderful compatible perch for this petite lil gnatcatcher. The BG really pops the grays of the bird and the perch is so interesting. Well done

Another super strong gnatcatcher image! well balanced comp, and the delicate perch looks pretty awesome here with this species. I'm personally torn on the two extra bits at right edge, but it is not a "make or break" issue as this is pretty super overall!!

Wesley, Ditto all the positives above. One concern: the mismatch in the color of the added stem is somewhat suspect (albeit after the fact ...) The highlights look perfect to me.

    Thank you for commenting Artie!

Yes it is slightly different in color. But it came from the same shrub about 6 inches behind the BGG so def not a complete transplant.

Killer light and BG. Excellent IQ.
Love the perky pose and I am Ok with the added stem but I don't think you needed it.
I love those tootsies wrapped around the stem.
    Beautiful frame,
    Gail
