    David, nice capture. Sure you're loving the new lens.

    Framing works well but there's a blue color cast coming through for me. Other than that, nice detail again and great job on the dof to get the whole bird!

    Wow! Super sharp, great pose, HA and BG. I see the colour cast that Brian refers to, but a top shot in any case. Enjoy the new lens!

    Nice capture, i too feel the colour balance is a little adrift, I am not too sure what the lighting conditions were but I have made an alternative for your consideration.

    Thank you, my friend. Looks great to me, but I'm partially color blind and find it hard to see color nuance. Thanks to everyone for help, as usual.

    They get more blue as adults.
