Morning run to the local regional park (Coyote Hills). Got a few frames of this fella heading out. This was my favorite. Don't usually give so much empty space left and top but right/wrong... it made me feel like he had some air to enjoy. "Free as a bird" sums it up for me. TFL.

Sharp with a great pose and drop-dead gorgeous light and BKGR.Very bad luck that the bill tip merged with the leading edge of the right wing.
Tip for these birds: since you are exposing for the WHITEs the dark ruby red iris is underexposed. Try selecting the iris and lightening it a bit. Sometimes increasing the Saturation helps as well. From where I sit the image design is perfect.
