    I like the calling pose it adds interest, super details in the head and antlers. Pleasing background, I may have been tempted to smooth out the highlights and shadows in the vegetation.

    Well John, you are posting some pretty cool stuff, has John Mack upped his game - yes he has.

    My previous points apply to this too, apart from addressing the vegetation on the body. I would go easy on any Contrast applied, it's masking some of that nice detail and perhaps just up the amount of NR. No hope at F/4 of getting this John, glad you upped the DoF, worked out well.

    If you open both via PS John it will be easier to see the changes, albeit subtle.

    Hi John -- Fantastic image, loved the details and the pose is pretty cool.

    I liked the colours in Steve's RP , makes it more pleasing.

    But all in all a very nice image.

    Wow. Beautiful, love the pose, great timing, super framing, nice thinking on DoF, those antlers are superb.
