    Default Waiting for Mum's return.

We found these two (of 6) four month old Lion cubs patiently waiting for Mum to return from a hunt.
Taken on a recent trip to the South Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia
This is my first posting in the Wildlife section, so please be gentle ;).
    C & C most welcome.

    Cheers

    Hey Marc!

I think this is a really cute image! I love the colors, the background is sweet! Could use a touch of unsharp mask in my opinion but easy to fix, a fine image.

    Keep them coming!!

Very attractive image, with good head angles and catchlights. The cubs really stand out in the dark background.

    Hi George

Many thanks for the positive comments, have re-edited with a touch of USM.
    A definite improvement, I think.

    Cheers

Nicely exposed with the flash. Good colors, pose, and sharpness.

Good one. I agree with the square crop here. The cubs are nicely popping up against the dark background. Nice catchlights. The perpendicular branch is not distracting as the tail is in line with it.

    Hi Marc,
I am not a huge fan of black BG's.......but this does work for me as a different perspective. My only recommendation is to remove the OOF branch in the lower area in the black.......draws the eye a bit. Repost sharpness looks VG!
