Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing fine and staying healthy.

Well, haven't quite been posting regularly , but life is busy as of now and am certainly looking to post more frequently , but one step at a time.

This image was made at Bandhavgarh in Dec 2019. A young male tiger, on the borderline of getting separated from his mother and siblings , was out for a drink one afternoon. The sighting was all to us as no vehicle was around , so we had some pretty good photography opportunities but importantly an experience to remember.

DPP 4.12, PSCC 2020, WB, TK7 , levels, curves, vib/sat/hue, sharpening , cropped slightly from top and RHS , sharpening.

Canon 1DX MK II, Canon 200-400mm @ 560mm, Bean Bag.

    ss 1/1000, f/5.6, iso 800.

Looking forward for all your comments and suggestions , be it of any nature.

    Haseeb.

Beautiful animal in a nice setting. The tiger really stands out against all that gray. Also like the water.

Hi Haseeb, looks like this Tiger generated some cool images for you & Sanjeev.

I do like the framing, pose and having the tail visible. I also like the way both FG & BKG 'sandwich' the subject. I'm just wonder if, in lifting both quarter (HL's) & MT's it just adds a subtle pop, but that having the water darker and adding some saturation just pulls everything together, just looks a bit flat, WDYT?

life is busy as of now and am certainly looking to post more frequently , but one step at a time.
    That's good to hear!
