Another from my time with the Ospreys, this bird sure knew how to catch a fish..No struggle here...clean catch.

Love this one Will. The splash on the left side adds to the success of this image. Sharp, wings up, nice BG and detail...all great. Mist also adds to the atmosphere. I'm out nearly every day at my Osprey location...yet to get a similar shot with the water splash, as George (the male Osprey) tends to dive in the far distance before bringing home the catch. TFS

Another beauty, Will. Possibly the best of the three IMHO. Perfect HA, wing extension, splash; and I love the look the fish is giving the Osprey. The bird has enough contrast to stand out against the BG without losing that lovely misty feeling. Nicely captured.

This is an absolute cracker Will, I have a rough idea what the fish is thinking and a pretty good idea of what he might be saying!

My favorite out of all of these. Nice view of the fish and the osprey. I like how their heads line up. The background gives a nice hint of the environment.

Hi Will, much prefer this to the previous posting, nice faming and I like the pose too, the single splash makes in the water makes it for me.

Although misty, a slight channel Curves blend adjustment to bring a little more 'pop & oomph' to the images certainly brings this alive IMHO, but whilst still maintaining the misty look & feel. Just watch your NR and if you are using Auto in what ever programme, back it off, remember - you are in control, not the programme and any adjustment always needs to be hidden.

Thanks for that Steve...I'll give that Curves adjustment a try. I've started using Topaz NR....Never use it on Auto....

Hi Will, I don't receive notifications anymore so it's by fluke I saw your reply.

This might perhaps give some direction, or not... doing any adjustment as a layer you can go darker or lighter, here I think it was maybe 60%

Topaz DN, amazing a product that has been floating around for a long time, suddenly folk latch onto it good for you. Just remember, as I said to Jon, you MUST use it at the RAW stage, NEVER EVER on a baked Tiff, ie after you have exported it from ACR/DPP/LR/C1.... NR must always be applied at the Raw stage.

Yep that does give the image a wee bit more pop...Thanks again Steve.
