Form earlier this spring. I was trying to call in a Chestnut-sided Warbler when this Yellow Warbler came in for a few seconds instead. A nice splash of colour in the early morning sun!

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/500s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, FF, lowered the intensity of the yellows (which were nearly blown), cleaned up the reflection in the eye.

Besides the sweet perfection of your EXP and PPing. It's a warbler (for goodness sakes) and you framed it perfectly in what had to be a second. Grrr.... TFS

Daniel, superb on all fronts. For me, the words "simple beauty" come to mind and the colors, contrast and detail are all A+.

    Well done!

    Daniel:

All good, but the perch and bg colors are special together here. Serendipity is your friend.

Who loves dew i do. The perch and framing is great. As is the background. The yellow bird pops nicely against all that green.

Kick-***! Did you set up the perch or was it just there? I think the latter ...

Thanks! I had setup for a Chestnut-sided to the side of this on another perch, but got this one instead on this perch.
