Another Gannet taken recently...wings up this time for those who prefer that. Cheers (LOVING this Nikon D500/500mmPF combo!)

Nicely Done. Looks a little steep but still works well.

Thank you Krishna. Yes...would have been better if it flew lower. Cheers.

    Hi Paul,
I do like the wing position and three-quarter view on this one. Also good positioning in the frame and just the right amount of space around the bird. From your results early in the piece, I think you’re in for a good future with your new gear!
    Cheers, David

Hi David. Thanks so much for the feedback. It took me a long time to decide on the gear, and yes, so far I'm very happy with my choice. Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to travel again to Tasmania and photograph your birds. Take care.

Paul, IMO definitely one of the best you've captured with the new gear.

    Congrats!

Good looking image, Paul! Exposure and detail look great, an the blue eye is great. Yeah, the overhead angle is tough, but I think you made the best possible image you could given that limitation. Nicely done.

Looks great. Each one in the series has improved. Nice details and I like the blue much better, but find what works for you.

A neat looking gannet. The detail and sharpness is there. Have fun with that new gear.
