    Hi Jon, I remember this one and the colour looks a lot better now.

    Love the alert pose and framing, albeit a bit more at the foot would be good. Surprise at f/5 you got as much DoF as you did, so nice one. Overall it's bit heavy on the Blacks/Contrast and you need to back off on the sharpening via DNAI, it's looks to over sharp I feel. Going a little cooler on the Temp and adding some magenta via the Tint might offer more of a balance???

    Thanks Steve, I have to agree with your comments, I am not making excuses but my original file is not quite so heavy in the blacks. Regarding sharpening I overrode the sharpening in AI and reduced it considerably and I reduced my web sharpening by 40% - maybe a tad more would have been better Colours ?...well as ever I don't think far out but your suggestion is a good one.

    Colours ?...well as ever I don't think far out but your suggestion is a good one.

    The eye contact is nice. The soft backlighting is another bonus. Brings out those ears very well. Like the framing as well.
