horned grebe, Taken in Iceland a few years ago. I love their bright red eye, which really pops against this neutral setting.

Nice Colors. Any specific reason why you went for Pano Crop ?

I would like to have more space below the image.

    Well done

Lovely intimate view, including pano crop. Love the colors and the canvas overall (so, what's new). TFS

Well done, Beautiful colors on the bird as well as nice feather detail. You have to love the eye. I think your choice of crop fits well here.

    Ann:

The eye is the anchor here, and works well. Lots of nice detail, without looking over sharpened. I do love pano crops for water fowl, but could see the bird a bit higher in the frame if the reflection quality isn't an issue below.

    Cheers

Ann, just a really fine capture of this Grebe. A soft feel, yet sharp and a hint of the high key feel works well.

At first I found myself looking to reduce the space above but it kind of grew on me. My preference might be to move the bird up just a tad in frame but either way you did well here.
