    Wasn't "planning" to shoot Avocets the other day but this one happened by. Thought he was too far out to get much, but was happy with what the 600 pulled in. Really enjoying the detail of this lens!

    No... this is a BNS dressed as an Avocet as there was a "No BNS" sign. :)

    Yup, I am forever mixing these two up and I have no idea why.... I know the difference - AND - they look nothing alike. Ah well... thanks for the note.
