    Took this a couple of weeks ago at Fairchild. The sculptures are Botero's.
    Only wish I knew how to lighten the sculpture.

    Nikon D70ir converted
    Lens: 12-24mm f4
    Focal length: 12mm
    Shutter speed: 1/1600 sec
    Aperture: 5
    Exposure mode: Av
    Flash: Off
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 200

    viveza is what you need. will make your life easier pin pointing areas for dodge and burn etc.

    Oscar, I downloaded and lightened shadows on the sculpture. Then I did a high pass filter to give it some texture and lowered the opacity to 40%.

    What do you think?

    Good work guys !!!

    Sid I like the lighter sculpture but just a little less Excellent work !!!

    Oscar it is an interesting composition I like the shadows very much and its giving me a strong visual direction and has a strong feel !!! I like it a lot !!!

    As Alfred suggested, just a little bit darker.

    Very nice! I thought the original was a bit dark and the repost a bit light...this one is great. Oscar, you sure can spot a great scene for IR. I can tell you have an artist's eye for composition too because your stuff is always spot on!

    hey oscar. dont you have capture nx? i know you got a free download when you bought the D300. dump that pic into CNX and use a color control point on the sculpture and brighten it just a tad. it's the same as the viveza plug in, but you should already have it!! looking good with the IR. like the compo here. curious as to where the pinkish tones are coming from in the reposts. what color is the sculpture?

    i can help you with CNX if you need it. awesome program and easy to use! noise reduction beats the pants off of CS3!!!!
