OK, so it's an image that's not going to set the world alit and the perch is crap, but I do like this wee fellow.

The cats and occasional fox seem to be the culprits in the local birdlife decline in our garden in London, the Sparrowhawk, as Jon A knows, is the assassin who has decimated the garden birds at our other house up north. However, I was pleased to see that the baby Robin was still around and was helping me, as I cleared in preparation for putting in a new fence later next month. He/she was grateful for all the bugs & beetles I was uncovering.

Thanks to those who posted or viewed on the last posting.

Can't speak for the world, but this little beauty does it for me. The spotlight, the colors, the sharpness right where you need it, the HA and the dramatic BG all spot on IMHO. The perch is what it is... TFS

What a beauty this Robin is, Steve. Beautiful soft light from what looks to be partially overcast sky reflected in the eye catchlight. Nice sharp detail, and the perch is the perch. Like the mottled shades of green in background.
