LR and PS, DNAI. Healed a small portion of tail blocked by a leaf and cloned a couple berries.

Rather beautiful, I love all those pale colours in that soft diffused light. Good calling pose. Well-balanced comp. The oof flowers in the BG really add a lot of positives here. Was this a setup, or a called-in bird, or just being at the right place at the right time?

    Daniel, thank you.

I was actually calling for Western Tanagers and this guy flew by. I did switch calls but was expecting him to land on a shrub branch in front of me. Instead, I heard him land in the Sumac behind me and quickly whipped around to catch him (hence the back lit shot). Needless to say I was pleased - normally I don't set up at Sumacs because there's almost always leaves or branches covering parts of the bird due to their foliage density.

Very nice Brian and very pleasing to the eye....Lovin the colours throughout the frame. Lovely detail and sharpness on the bird...Great pose. The berries makes the perch very appealing. Good POV and DOF...

Beautiful colors and the berried plant adds the icing. Do you know what plant/shrub this is? Do you know what is near the base of the tail opposite wing? Good detail and sharpness with a call too! Well done

This is very nice Brian. Just a few sets of leaves on the left (in the BKG) have some soft edges from movement. I'd trim the "fluff" away myself - but that's just me. Looks great in any case. TFS.
