Practicing field craft @200...
EOS R RF 70-200 @200 f2.8 1/1000 ISO 1000 HH, Manual EXP
With late sun filtered by clouds, spotted yet another limpkin right off the Greenway (network of nice wide Bike paths in Broward County). I managed to get within 2.5 meters of this beauty. Just some field craft practice till first longer RF glass arrives.
Nice to get close but I would wait until the bird got clear of the grass.....

David, I really like this one compared to the last in the grass. Also, lighting is at a great angle and much more even.
With the body angled away might wish for a touch more eye contact but not bad here as is.
