Took this last month. Things are really quiet now in Nova Scotia. Just waiting for shorebird season to start up!
    Canon 1 DX3 600mm and 1.4 x.
    1/800 F7.1 ISO 1600
Crop from landscape to full vertical.
PP: Nothing added or cloned. Reduced the yellows in HSL tab.
Comments and critiques always appreciated and learned from,

Beautiful calling pose, Gail. Great perch for this beauty, and I'm liking the background a lot. Beautiful overcast light, and very nice detail.

"finish your dinner!" lovely capture, good call on reducing the yellows, would like a bit more on left side if you have it. I like the BG and the spruce perch. Sweet lil flycatcher, nicely done.

Awesome perch, light and pose. If this is your doldrums, can't wait for the good stuff. TFS

Gail, super timing here. Love the wingtip as it's a subtle but impactful detail and a fair exchange for losing the tip of the tail.

When looking at the whole image I would tend to agree with Ann to bring yellows down a touch more, however the whites on the breast and neck look nice.

Crop works well and... I actually think the signature looks cool there :-)

Nice call and perch, I think brushing out the bright white spots above would improve the image...

Lovely pose, perch and BG. Nicely done. I'm with Dan; slightly toning down the white spots with a pale green brush might make them less distracting.

Gail you just put up some of the most lovely stuff. Wow - what I frame! I'd like it better without the wing myself - but it's likely the calling card for others. No matter ... just great. TFS.

Awesome! That insect wing, although so small, adds so much to the image. I'm with Dan about the whites in the BG, but all else is very beautiful and well presented.
