I like the image, has soft feel. I would center the image and add more sharpening (Selectively)
I like the colors.

Robert, you are clearly a very talented photographer. Loved the eagles and this has a striking aspect to it as well.
Digging the wing symmetry and the touch of warm light is great. Head angle is super too.
Out of curiosity, did the raw have much noise on the bird?
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Robert, lovely image. I love the soft colors and feel of the image. Perfect head angle, perfect wing spread. Thank you for sharing.
P.S. Ft. Desoto or Bunche Beach?

love the soft dreamy feel, it almost has a calming effect on me! and the perfect symmetric wing position. I'd sharpen him a bit more. it makes a great large print or display... you made an ordinary bird into a work of art

Hi Robert, what joy it must have been to photograph this white morph, lucky you! I really like this image and would try again more sharpening on the bird. Super water and sky and HA, well done! My favorite bird, always.

Arash, White morph Reddish Egret is no ordinary bird :)
Robert, ditto all the positives above. What made you go for the 400 f/2.8 over the 600?
With the bird looking to our right I love the off-centered subject placement.
Where and when? Late for prety nice breeding plumage.

Thanks to all for the comments and critiques. They are much appreciated. Brian. the bird did show some noise mostly under the wings. Joe This was Bunche Beach.
Thanks Artie. I had the 400 long before the 600 was available. As for now I am blessed to have both. I find the 400 a better length at this location if after the Reddish only, which is often the case for me.
The image was taken June 27 2020. at Bunche Beach.

Thanks for the info. Do you use Topaz DN or another product?
I also wonder what a 16x9 would do with this frame. None-the-less, I'd take it in my portfolio as-is!

Thank you Brian. Yes, I use Topaz DN. and am pleased with it. Sure a 16x9 would work well here. I have a lot more files in this series to go through.
Thank you.
