I don't go looking for insect. I usually look for wildflowers, but sometimes happen to find insect. This is one of those.

Super shot Ravi nicely composed good colours and detail pretty good too. Looks good as is but i would see if it was possible to get a little more detail from the darkest elements - maybe not.
Not a big issue for me but if you had not clipped top right side of flower head it may have presented even better than it has.

The butterfly gave you a nice pose and and you got the plane of focus perfectly on the wings, Ravi. The soft light and clean background also add to the image. I would agree with Jon about the top right corner. To my eye, the butterfly looks like it might be a bit oversharpened - a minor point. Overall, very nicely done!

Thanks Jonathan and Steve for your comments. I am re-posting the image with some details on the body of the butterfly. unfortunately, the butterfly rested on that flower briefly, so I couldn't pull back for a full view of the flower. It was gone in a minute or so.

Also love the OP and you came in at just the right angle. Agree on clipping flower head but really love it as is. TFS

You were nice and parallel to the monarch. Agree to see the whole lace head. Still nice though.
