    Good colours and details, the DOF I think was purposefully shallow but this has rendered the rim of the shell a little soft. I don't think the pebble in the foreground adds, I would have been inclined to remove it before taking the image.

    Like the shell low on the frame. focus is right on at the center of the shell. For a shallow dof, I would have preferred a bigger subject in the frame, but I think it works well here too. Agree with Jonathan on the rock in the foreground.

    Nice sharpness right on the center of the shell and I like the placement of the shell within the frame. I agree with Jon and Ravi about the OOF rock in the foreground. It really draws my eye and detracts from an otherwise strong image. I would also suggest that you tone down the brightest areas of the OOF rock in the background as they draw my eye away from your subject.

    A different image for sure. I like it. The framing of the shell is right on. Nice color.
