Here's another shot of the Osprey posted previously after it flew across the water and landed on a post. Luckily it remained on the post after I had to walk around 500 metres to get to it.

Off Sun Angle and Image quality does not work for me.
Head Turn is nice I like the feet and not fan of perch.

I could live with the perch if it weren't for the strong shadows

Thanks Krishna/Arash. Feedback appreciated.
Paul, you did a pretty good job from my view considering the lighting working against you. Always tough having a dead/old perch although there are cases where it's the most common for a subject in their habitat (Ill have one coming next week). But the Osprey are such beautiful hunters and are so photogenic in flight with prey that it's a far cry from this perched bird. Love to see others if you have em.
Nice and eye level with this osprey. The background is nice. This would have had nice detail in diffused light.
Unuckily you werre way off sun angle and to my eye, the lightening of the shadowed areas created some funky-looking plumage ... Also the tail is partially hidden. It is sharp and you did a good job with the processing but there was too much going against you ...
