Enjoyable day at one of the few spot with anything to shoot in this slow season. Started the day really struggling to hit anything but glad I stuck it out. Bit by bit things improved.

    Slight crop and rotation.

super pose Joel, love the light and details, the shore line in the BG is less than ideal but difficult to avoid by the lake. did you try to other spot , you get better BG's there....

I was in the other spot for just a bit but there wasn't much action so I moved. Next time I may hang out there or give up the skimming shots at this location and shoot lower and father down the shoreline. Different angle may make it work. Thanks for comments. Loving the 600. Loving Sony. May add the 7 iv for less demanding work. Miss the D850 crops.

I might borrow a 7R4 one of these days, I use the 2X in place of D850...much cheaper ....:D

Wonderful banking pose in great light. Wing and tail spread to die for. Lovely colors in the BG, although their juxtaposition is not ideal.

You will rrarely come acrross a more perfect banking pose/head angle/dorsal view. BTW, the 7r iv does just fine for flight on the 600 GM ...
