    With following, fading light and still receding tide, big red works into twilight.

    David:

    I like the striding pose, the illumination on the eye, clouds. I have rather mixed feelings about the tree line on far right edge of frame. It does give a sense of more depth, which is good, but its location and being darker than the the rest of the background really draws the viewers eye.

    If you are trying to display the fading light, I might lower the luminosity a bit.

    Working hard or hardly working. Big red working hard, Me hardly working. I like the framing. The setting is nice as well. Pose is bang on.

    Like the pose and head angle. I would clone out the disracting elements in the horizon.
