As your title suggests, the layered background really makes the image. Nicely done.

I like the wing position and the tiered BG. some of the blacks look too heavy and can use reduction of contrast, there are some shadows and just a tad dark on my monitor, but not too bad. sharp

The 'rainbow' background is interesting, and I find this often doesn't work well, but does here. Agree about the blacks. Not technically block based on their values, but I would be tempted to tease out a bit more detail if possible.
Framing is effective. Normally I would consider more above, but the dark wingtip blends in enough with the background that its proximity to the frame edge is bothersome.

Thanks Arash, I agree about the blacks and the contrast, I shot this in full sun at the coast which I rarely like.
Clouds of the perfect thickness are my friend there...

Nice and sharp. Light was not ideal but you have handled that very well.
