This is one of four species of swans that the city maintains on Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
Nikon D7000
Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera snd lens supported by a monopod
1/2000 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV -1/3 ISO 450 Auto WB, image captured at 102mm
Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction
Pretty much full frame with canvas added to place the bird where I wanted for composition

I really liked Lake Morton the two times I was there. Black swans are such striking birds, love their curly plumage and red bill and eye.
The reflection of the sky is really nice, smooth water, nicely exposed.
The head is turned a bit away, and for personal taste, I would prefer a little more canvas below and not as much above. Moving your sig. to the other side would give the sense of. a bit more room below as well.

Hi Randy, thank you for viewing and commenting. I knew the head angle was not perfect but I liked the serenity of the image. So I hoped that by adding canvas and making the bird smaller it would work. I moved the bird to the front in the frame but easy to do another version with the bird back in the frame.

I absolutely agree that having space for the bird to look into can help mitigate the head angle issue to a certain degree. Probably more space there than you need to accomplish that, but they right idea. This not a right or wrong situation, just personal taste really.

Hi Randy, I wholeheartedly agree not a right or wrong issue. I was just explaining my thoughts on what I did. Thanks for replying.

This is lovely.
I like the serene, calm feeling to the image and I am OK with the HA.
Great reflection of the sky in the water.
Agree 100% with Randy about moving your signature to the left and make it smaller!
I love the overall "feel to this image",
