    Jim:

Great display of the iridescence, full downstroke pose, well exposed. Perhaps a bit soft on the head. Where was your focus point?

    Cheers

Good downstroke pose, nice wing detail, iridescence in the head. I like the clouds in the BG. I wonder if just a tad more sharpening throughout, or at least in the head, might help.

Hi Jim, lovely wing position of this small fast bird. I agree with the previous comments. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Randy, Bill and Joe. Randy the focus point was on the back of the tail. I will give it another round of sharpening and see how it looks.

A nice flight frame of this gackle. The color on the bird is great. Looks pretty shiny.

nice catch, hed a bit soft but it look like a large dose of highlight shadow was applied which makes it look unnatural to me

    Hi Jim,
    The wing position is excellent.
Nice BG although it would have been great to position the bird solidly in the green.
The processing seems way off to me. Image looks crunchy and contrasty and if you apply more sharpening, I think the result would not be great.
I would reprocessing this with a lighter hand,
    Gail
