    Default Shady Gets His

    Not sure how I feel about this one. Wish the Tern's eye popped little more out from under the shadow of his wing - and the origami shape of the bird has (IMO) it's plusses and minuses. Anyhow, pp'd it and thought to share.

    A9ii, 600, ISO 1000, SS 2000, F8, HH, C1P, PS, AIDn, slight canvas extension all around.

    Lot of great action in this series Jay. Fun frame here and great we can see the full eye through the primary flight feathers even though it's a bit dark there.

    Nice view of that fish. The eye just below the wing in shadow is pretty neat. Light was sweet.

    I agree this is pretty neat. I can understand your hesitation, but in the end it was worth processing.
