    Avocet, still in breeding plumage gave a nice 'gear down' landing pose for me.

    Wow Brian. Love everything about this. the exposure is just great and IQ is very good. Avos are (at least in my neck o the woods) not that uncommon, but this shows a good shot is a good shot. Really like it. TFS!

    The landing pose is dead on. Lovely detail on the bird as well. Background is another plus. A nice image all around.

    Just beautiful Brian, only thing I can suggest is a little more negative space to the right to land in if you have it, but everything else is stunning
