    These juvenile starlings were sublingual over food I had put out. Image taken whilst in the hide.

    Great interaction here! Dynamic. Nice degree of separation from background, well exposed.

    I suspect the smaller sensor helped with the DOF for this shot, which needed a lot because of the plane of the birds.

    The diagonal of the birds works well with the frame as well.

    Great action and good lighting for darker subs. I'd take out the darkish branch/leaves at 11:00, but that's just me. Really nice. TFS.

    Well I have never seen two starlings frozen in motion before....Very well done Jon. Love the facial expression on the bird on the left. The BG looks nice. It's amazing to see different feather detail at this speed. Especially on the head of the bird on the right.

    Cool Action Shot. Nice and sharp.
    I wish for a bit better background but it is a minor point when compared to the action.
