    After spending a half hour army crawling as close as I could get and imaging this beauty, the office building security guard walked up and the session was over. I quickly apologized and moved on, just like my friendly companion/model.

    The bird looks good, just for presentation I would be inclined to darken the foreground grass a little.

    Very nice David...I like your chosen crop. Good POV and pose on the bird. Nice detail. The BG shows the habitat well. Exposure looks good.

    Nice low angle. The crop works well. Very nice light you captured on him. I would not have noticed, but I like Jonathan's suggestion to darken the foreground.

    David, pretty frame.

    I might be inclined to evict that grass sticking up underneath the bird and touching the leg. Might also wish a slight head turn toward the camera in a perfect world.
