    Question Nikon WB

What WB setting do those of you who shoot Nikon generally use?? I shoot RAW and know I can change this later, but in general what setting do you use most of the time?? I have been keeping mine at cloudy about 90% of the time when shooting outdoors. BTW I have a D300.

Auto WB on the D300 is really quite good. I use that setting on my D300 almost all of the time.

I also use Auto most of the time

Early morning will go to 9000K and on cloudy days go to cloudy.

I mostly use AUTO as well. I have to say though I like to play so when I am not tuned in to something else I switch to cloudy or a set number depending on morning or late time frames. The D3 is smokin on AUTO though!

NearuniWB preset for everything outdors with the D300.

It gives a much more realistic histogram reading and increases dynamic range by 1/2 stop.

Auto 90% of the time, unless I'm doing something special.

I have noticed Nikon tends to be to warm on Auto when the light is really right.
