posting an image

I tried posting an image by using a link to my on line photo site. The message I got was that it was invalid. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have your own website or a service such as flickr or pbase? Make sure that hotlinking is available and enabled. If it doesn't work you can just use the picture upload system on this website.

Maybe you can try to upload the file that is stored on your computer and see if that works.

Either way should work. If you post the link into the message make sure to have an [img] command right in front of the link (no space) and [/img] right after the link. If you click on 'preview post' you will see if it worked.

The link you posted is a link to a web page and not the actual image. You would have to use this:

http://images.myphotoalbum.com/c/ch/...mers.sized.jpg instead of the one you did.

I posted the link earlier in this thread, does it work for you? I didn't add any img before it. I will try posting it.
