    I captured this image of a Red-winged Blackbird with the Arthur Morris patented pure background at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a monopod
    1/1250 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 1100 Auto WB, image captured at 400mm
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Hi Joe,
    The BG is indeed beautiful. Looks great with the simple and suitably sized perch.
    I like the lookback pose. Love that flared tail and the reds and yellows are well exposed.
    Did the sun go behind a cloud as you shot this? Nice catchlight in the eye but the light in this image doesn't look like the sun was out.
    The blacks seem a bit washed out and I see some blue in the blacks. easy fix.
    I find the crop a bit tight on the LHS.

    The framing with the look back pose is nice. Perch and background are dead on. This might be a juvenile or an almost adult. I would warm up the image some.

    I like the diagonal perch. Colors look good.

    Details on the bird missing. Did you apply NR ? Was there any cloning done on the lower right corner/part of the perch ?
