This is another bird which nests on the shore in my hometown. Quite a small Plover, with plenty of character.

Spot on EXP, details and colors. Only minimum nit is the specular highlights in the OOF ground behind. Only slightly draw my eye and I l do love it as is. TFS

This is quite excellent. Right downssun angle with a great alert pose. SH and EXP spot on. Compositionally there is a bit too much foreground for me. For the re-post I did a small crop from below and eliminated a very few of the brightest whitest pebbles

Hi William, I do prefer Arties repost but agree this is an exceptional image of quite a handsome plover... looks like fresh feathers but i'm thinking a male in breeding colors...? Any info on this? This is terrific w the tc 2x's!

Will, love the bird here - looks exposed well and processed nicely. Just like Killdeer which are more common in our area.

Probably a good suggestion losing a touch of the foreground.

Very nice. I like all those little pebbles at the birds feet. A nice frame overall.
