    This photo was taken in Brownsville, Texas in February at the Sabal Palm Sanctuary. It was taken around 8:40 am and it was around 35 degrees.

    Nikon D850 with 500mm 5.6 pf handheld.
    Shutter speed: 1/2000 sec
    Aperture: 5.6
    ISO: 320
    Exposure mode: Manual
    White balance: AUTO

    CP1 > photoshop ( NIK and neatimage)

    nice composition, I like how you have placed the interesting perch. bird looks sharp with good details. HA is good and I like the "mowhawk" too! I wish the BG was more interesting and you had a higher vantage point

    Very Good Composition.

    No so happy with the Blue background, I would warm up the bird a touch. Nice light..

    Very neat looking little bird. I like the framing the perch is pretty neat as well.
