    My favorite sparrow species (I may have said it before, lol). Excellent details, but perhaps a touch too much on some of the primary feathers as there is an odd "dotted" pattern to some of the individual barbs. Those are pretty neat insects its got in its bill. Good perch, and I like the raised crest. Ideally the oof stem below would not be there.

    Nice view of this sparrow with some grub so to speak. I like the pose and the perch. Nice background as well.

    Dan, cool capture with the bright red bugs!

    I agree with Daniel, a bit too much sharpening all around for my tastes. The edginess in the wings as well as the cheeks and right shoulder, to be specific.
