    Default F11 Canon RF lenses

I really don't get into equipment but the new mirrorless Canon lenses are not made
    for sports or wildlife.
    600 and 800mm F11 lens? There new 100-500 is f7.1???
    Good luck with that stuff.
I hope Nikon is not as dumb.

these are cheap entry level lenses Dan, I don't think they are being advertised as pro sports or wildlife lenses. They don't even have "L" designation which usually means cheap cr**. I am not sure what the market / demand is like for these lenses in a shrinking global camera market though

Those are certainly odd-ball lenses, not sure why Canon even put some R&D in those instead of concentrating on quality stuff. I suppose they will be OK for photographing the moon, but even then. If the price is VERY affordable I suppose many new wildlife photographers may be tempted, but at f/11, sheesh.
