Actually, everyday brings its' blessings despite the strange times we are living in so far this year. It's been great for photography locally, including this Spotted Sandpiper nest I stumbled upon. This individual is only a few hours old here, and only out of the nest for about 10 minutes. Did you know these wee-little fellas start bobbing their back-half, just like their parents, from the moment they start walking? Well, here is a parting-shot this one gave me before heading out for cover in some taller vegetation! I don't normally take "butt" shots, but this was too precious to not delete and share

Caqnon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II+ 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/100s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, did NO work on the eye lol, FF, small crop for comp.

Cute and funny Daniel. Neat info too on the behaviors of these littles.

Thanks for lightening things up my friend!

Not quite sure how to respond to this one Dan, however nice to occasionally see the 'lighter side of life', bottoms up!

My smile and laugh for the day!
    Great title and so cute!
Great POV and love the framing between the 2 grasses.
I know this is meant to be a fun picture but I see a purple cast coming through on the stones and the whites.

Great title and thinking behind this one. A one of a kind image for sure.
