Well made a 6 hour trip today to the sewreage plant - very limited opportunities was a little disapointing but anyways.....

Slightly unconventional I guess - better head angle would have been nice. 1/2 stop exposure compensation in NX 2 + Shadow/Highlights in PS 9% (was shooting something else when this presented so made a qucik decesion - knew I would be a little under but better than nothing)

Cloned out some power lines bottom left. Shot early morning light extremely overcast day.

    Sigma 300-800 zoom @800mm

    +0.3EV
    ISO 800

    Sharpened a tad.

Now that is a good head angle. Love it.

You capture it right on as far as the action. I do agree with you in a little more head angle to his right would have been more desirable.
    Anyhow, this is great image.

HI Lance I like it Did a good job with that bird !!

Under those conditions the compensation should have been lots more Probably a full stop or more Do like the image as presented and would only crop a little tighter !! When the birds are coming in always look for them flaring since it will be the nicest position !!!!
