    Default Pelican near sunset

There seems to be more Pelicans than usual at a local spot near my house. This one was taken a little before full sunset. I do like the colours reflected in the water.

I like the reflection. Nice color to the water as well. Such neat looking pelicans.

Thank you John. Yes...they're certainly an easier bird to photograph...just looking for new ways to do that though. Cheers.

Hi Paul, OK the location is what it is, but I think you can make more of the subject which I feel will add and hopefully dovetail with your liking of the BKG.

If you slightly darken the FG at an angle reflecting the large expanse of white, remove the colour cast within the Pelican and add some more selective sharpening, your Pelican I feel has a bit more interest & pop.
