experimenting with the A9II high ISO files I got this image at ISO-8000. I usually don't like going beyond ISO-4K on FF bodies and ISO-2K on the high res. bodies but I found this image was more than acceptable given the poor light. It is a bit dark by design as the bird was shaded and sun was already down. I could brighten it but kept it like it was but perhaps should be brightened some
Shot with A9 II and 600 GM + TC 1.4X ISO-8000 f/5.6 at 1/2500 sec hand held. processed with C1P. I wish the feet and the top plumage of the killdeer where in focus but this is not possible unless the bird is perfectly parallel to the back of the camera, here only the head and the chest area are inside the DOF
