    Default Heldover Red-necked Phalarope

Never posted the last two in this series! The group of 8 birds spent virtually all their time swimming as this species tends to do, but this female found some shallow water where she
could partially stand for a few moments. Thought it was nice to see more of the undercarriage! This was taken just as the sun cracked the horizon.

    1/3200 at f/5.6, ISO 800.
Processed in LR. Minor NR to BG and FG given a slightly-larger-than-usual crop.

Lovely shot Dorian, sweet complimentary colors all round. Detail as expected as well as almost below surface POV.
I'm sure some would like to eliminate the small specular highlights but they are faint.

This is a beautiful frame Dorian.
The light is divine and the IQ is terrific. Exposure spot on.
I am viewing from my small screen laptop so may have missed something but all looks great!
The specular highlights in the water could go for a cleaner look but they do not bother me at all.

I've been waiting given your other images in this series. Well worth the wait... Just a sublime canvas overall. Congrats and TFS

Eager to see the final one of the series. This one is just as beautiful as the rest, and an interesting pose. Sweet light, IQ and background.

light and clam water bring this one to life, sweet details too. HA is good although I can imagine one with a slight angle towards us too. well done

Dorian, stellar just as the others. A touch of blue wake in contrast to the warm, silky smooth bkg and bird tones is tremendous.

+1 for touching the specs below the head in water

Sweet light and nice low angle. The color is nice overall. The reflection is another plus.
