Default Spoonie action at the click ponds!

Went to Viera today and first drove over to the click ponds. Well, the first cell is almost completely drained and dead fish are just all over, as well as the smell:eek:!!!. But, there were spoonies and many, many more birds all over the place. This image taken with the D300 and Nikon 500 f4 with 1.4TC, f8, 1/2000, -.67, iso 640

    All C&C welcomed as always

Lovely landing pose, Nancy. Since the light is so warm, you may benefit from lower the temperature a bit for more control of borderline areas in the body.

Sure wish we could go there now!!!!

Wonderful action and landing pose Nancy. Looks like a great place to go at the moment. Many thanks for sharing.

Very nice landing pose and details. I would decrease the saturation a few points and wish the underside of the bird's left wing were more visible. Any ideas why the feet are black, mud? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Fabs, Judy and Axel. Will try out suggestions. And Axel I think it is mud.
