    This fella surprised me by popping up in the cedar close to me when I was pishing a Yellow Warbler. It plunked right back down and then out after a was able to get a few frames.

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/8, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, NR to the BG.

    Great view of those namesake flanks! I really digging this because it's a proper in-field frame with the cleanliness and feel of a set-up shot. The perch is interesting and frames him nicely, and I think the unconventional, underside view is super cool. Exposure and detail look great. I like the position in the frame as well.

    Awesome frame Daniel. The chestnut and yellow cap really pop with the lighting and esp against that gray and green bkg.

    Beautiful image. Exposure is spot on. Love the background. I don't mind the tail being OOF. The only nit I would pick is the tail being partially obscured.

    Looks spot on all around as per your usual. Really like the framing and that perch though.
