Mountain Birding 5.0 - Yellow Warbler warbling a snack
Last in the series for now. A fun week up around 6700 ft elev. 640am before the sun crested.
Took some creative liberties to leave the flora on right, some may not like it. There is room for tighter crop but I liked this one best.

I like the setting and composition, but the image seems to lack sharpness, particularly as we move away from the eye. Some of that is due to depth of field restrictions given the lighting conditions, but not having the feet
or the tail sharp is tough for me.

Yellow warblers are so pretty.
I like this- I am OK with the sharpness and I like the amount of vegetation included. The bit in the RUC could go but not a big issue
The little worm is a bonus.
I do wish the flowers (?apple blossoms) were not wilted.

Hey John, I live in Golden which as you may know is right at the base of the mountains. We get decent migrations where I'm at. But the spot I love is about a 20 minute drive into the mountains and there is a parking lot which you can walk between a 100 yd and a couple miles from and see plenty of moderately rare species.

I like the image, I found lowering the saturation and luminosity in Yellow reveals better detail in the bird's plumage.
