    Default Corella telling a joke

These two Little Corellas were among a large flock that landed on a sandy beach recently. This looks looks like the one on he left is telling a joke to the other one...lol

I think I hear a chuckle. Wonderful job with the soft side light on these two creamy beauties and I love the interaction and simple framing. TFS

Love the title. The framing works well. The interaction is what makes this one. Detail on the birds looks good.

    Paul:

Soft light, fun pose, title fits well. Nice POV.

I could see this as a greeting card image!

Great moment captured here Paul! Despite the light angle and no catchlights in the eyes you achieved very nice detail. The pink introduction to plumage is nice as well, is that a breeding thing or are these juveniles? (not familiar with the species obviously)

Fantastic simple foreground and background. If you wanted to get particular you could spot heal those larger dark blobs and ground debris to clean up a bit.

    TFS!

Thank you all for the feedback.
John: I was going to call this one: "Have you heard the one about..." lol
Randy: Greeting card...exactly what my wife said.
Brian: I actually cloned out quite a few "blobs" in the background, but decided to leave the foreground so as to keep the texture of the sand. However, I might go back and clean up the foreground and see how it looks. Cheers.

Whoa! From the thumbnail, I thought they were going to be on a road, but the sand is a really nice surprise. Super cure image for sure, but the backlight is really working against you. The lack of catchlights hurts as their faces look a bit lifeless without them.

Thanks Dorian. The sun was actually behind me, but still a harsh light I guess. I have other shots from the shoot so will check them out for catchlights...although I must admit I'm fine as is.
