I captured this image of a male Anhinga at the rookery in the alligator breeding pond in Gatorland, Orlando, Florida. As I study the image I am struck how the feathers on the neck look like fur, it must be a adaptation to help them swim. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
