    Taken on the east end of Long Island.

    Canon 1Dmk3 500mm f4 1.4x, Tripod, Manual exposure incident meter, 1/640 @ f5.6 Iso 800, Auto focus.

    stunning light and I love the movement in the rear wing. I think i would prefer it as a horizontal instead of the square but that's just me.

    Excellent timing and light in this capture. A bit more DOF and the far wing would be in focus.. Thanks for sharing.

    Great light, pose and setting. The motion blur of the bird's left wing makes it more dynamic, I like it.
